Worship is the ultimate purpose for which all people were created. At Heritage, our worship is a joyful and reverent response to the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. In worship we gladly and loudly lift our voices in praise to the Triune Lord. We sing a mixture of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs both with and without accompanianment. We spend time in fervent prayer for the physical and spiritual needs of ourselves, our families, our town, our nation, and our world. We confess our sins and our common faith. And we saturate our service with Scripture. We read Scripture, we sing Scripture, and we hear the Scripture preached.

Our congregation includes people who are weeks old, those who are closer to 100, and everywhere in between. As the Scripture says, "One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts." For that reason we believe it is good and desireable that families worship together with all members. The church belongs to the young just as much to the old. A playroom is available for children under four who need it before joining in with the congregation, and busy bags are provided in the lobby for older children who need a little help keeping their hands busy during the service.
